Tress Pass: an invitation
Tress Pass: an invitation was a time-based performance about hair, loss, and identity. Through an audio narrative backdrop of community and personal stories, the artist explores the emotional terrain of hair loss, the importance of hair as both a symbol and self-worth, and how loss shapes our identities. Calling the audience in as both observer and participant, the artist strives to democratize feelings and experiences often shuttered - serving them up for all to share and experience together. Performed on location at the Mountain View Arts Gallery in Dena'ina Ełena (Anchorage, Alaska).
